Anything Created

“For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.” (Psalm 135:5-6)

Anything created was created because God wanted it to exist. Anything created was created in accordance to how God wanted it to be.

God not only creates life, He maintains and sustains it as well. Whether it is a person or a planet, apple or animal, nothing is created or lives independent of God.

Through His Son Jesus Christ, God upholds, “all things by the word of his power” (Hebrews 1:3) and “by him all things consist” (Colossians 1:17).

Remove God from the picture and there is nothing, literally. All creation stops. All life stops.

Some people labor under the false notion that God creates life, but then, for some reason, steps back and let’s go. Nothing could be further from the truth. Life itself, is in God's hands! God is just as active in each breathe of our lungs and beat of our heart as He is in each child He forms.

The lyrics of the Laurie London song are so very true. God does, “got the whole world in His hands”. God also has, “you and me brother in His hands”.

The hands that formed everything, also sustain everything.
