A Vessel For The Finer

“Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.” (Proverbs 25:4)

Rephrased: Take away the sin from the man, and there shall come forth a vessel for God.

God can have no association with unrighteousness, for He is holy, pure and perfect. These are not attributes or characteristics of God, they are God.

Man is imperfect, impure and unrighteous. Corruption can not inherit incorruption.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Only by the blood of Christ is man washed clean of his sins. Only by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior is man accepted into the Kingdom of God.
