“O God of my fathers, and Lord of mercy, who hast made all
things with thy word, And ordained man through thy wisdom, that he should have
dominion over the creatures which thou hast made, And order the world according
to equity and righteousness, and execute judgment with an upright heart”
(Wisdom of Solomon 9:1-3)
The world, its being and existence is according to, “equity
and righteousness”. These attributes of God are this world’s natural state.
Carnal man thinks of paradise as an earthly place, full of
beautiful and perfect things. But paradise is the beauty and perfection of God.
Paradise is equity and righteousness and the judgment of an upright spirit.
Only fallen man and his sin soaked soul would think of paradise in earthly
terms.
Our lot is the Lord, our lot is equity and righteousness,
judgment and an upright spirit. Love can only come from these things and
nothing else.
